An ambitious and deeply moving Afro-fusion project, Afrique mon désir sets the poetry of African literary giants—such as JJ Rabearivelo, Véronique Tadjo, and Patrice Nganang—to music. Drawing on cultural crossovers and featuring the brilliant Malagasy accordionist Régis Gizavo, the album pulses with pan-African energy, rhythmic vitality, and poetic grace.
